Enriching our students' vocabulary is crucial to academic success. The requested vocabulary program, "Flocabulary" is standards based and high interest for our students. There are catchy songs that introduce and reinforce the vocabulary as well as opportunities for students to practice using the vocabulary in various activities. It can be used across the academic day to enrich students acquisition of new social and content based vocabulary. The "Flocabulary" program requested covers math, literacy, science, and social studies. We desperately need funds for resources in all areas but in particular reaching the high number of English language learners in our schools. Please consider supporting the vocabulary program requested in this project.
