Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are the best part about teaching, in my opinion. I had a parent recently thank me because I allow her student to stand in my class. He struggles staying in one place. He constantly wants to move around and rarely sits in his seat. I told him mom that as long as he is working, he is welcome to stand, move, do what he needs to do to focus.

After browsing on Amazon, I saw these different option for seating in the classroom.

I notice most of them are geared toward elementary students. There are students who don't "grow out of it". They need it in middle also. I'd love to be able to allow students to bounce, stand, or "wobble" while staying focused on what is being taught.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
