My Students
My students come from low-income families. We have 100% free breakfast and lunch for every child. Students are not always able to access some of the resources that would help them succeed educationally. My students are thankful for the resources they do have. They are eager to learn and thankful for any opportunity they are given. These students need to be exposed to diverse, rich, and meaningful content. This can only be done with the use of meaningful resources that make learning easier and more engaging.
My Project
My students love having different options for seating in our classroom. Some students prefer to sit in chairs while others would prefer to lay on the floor. Wobble seats were popular in my room last year but I only had one. Having two more would allow for more students to sit as they please. Students perform better when they are comfortable. Allowing students to choose how they will be the most proactive in the classroom is really powerful and allows for more success in the classroom. Thank you for the support!
