My Students

I currently have 17 students in my classroom. My students come to school extremely energetic and ready to learn every day! They enjoy being able to move around the classroom throughout the day. It is hard for most of them to stay engaged while sitting in a hard, uncomfortable chair all day. They often get fidgety and restless. I would like the opportunity to offer them some flexible seating options that will make them more comfortable while they are learning, which will lead to more student engagement!

My Project

My students come to school full of energy and ready to learn! Just like adults get tired of sitting in hard chairs all day, students do too! They need more flexible seating options to enhance student engagement and learning. Studies show that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable. All of these options will give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably and move around while they are learning.

This project would significantly help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day.

I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. I cannot wait to see all of the things we can do with flexible seating!
