My Students

I will be teaching 20- 24 students in kindergarten. The students are excited, nervous, anxious, happy, and so ready to start what is most likely their first schooling experience. The school I teach in is very diverse.

Our school provides breakfast for all students and free and reduced-price lunches for students who need help.

The school works to be a strong support for the community offering help to many of our families. It is a wonderful school and the students are appreciative of any help and are willing to learn!

My Project

Because I teach kindergarten, it is many students first experience in school. It can be hard for these students to be sitting all day in a chair. They are active and love to be moving. These chairs would give them an opportunity when working with at the small group table to "move" around in the chair and gain better focus on the tasks at hand.

By funding this project my students will be able to focus and improve their reading and math skills.

It can help my students with special needs focus as well and give students a break from the hard and stationary chairs that can be difficult even for adults to sit in all day. My students will greatly benefit from this and we would greatly appreciate the donation. Education helps make a better future for everyone!
