The students had two years with very little structure. Last year was better, but it takes more than one year to get back to normal. Transitioning back to the classroom is going to be a long process. Flexible seating allows students to be comfortable and more able to focus on the learning at hand. I have been using flexible seating for several years now, and we need an update. One of my students' favorite seating options is our wobble stools. Unfortunately, these stools are old and worn and are ruining our floor. I don't want the students to loose this seating option. I want students to walk into a classroom that feels comfortable and prepares them to learn. The new chairs will help keep the students engaged, comfortable and allow them to decide how their learning space will look and feel.
