My Project

My students are special because they are a diverse group that represents many backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. COVID-19 has impacted this particular group of students because they did not receive their first full year of school. Through this, my students have struggled to have a "normal" school experience up until their 2nd-grade year. I am looking to bring flexible seating choices into the classroom so that students can develop social-emotional skills of self-regulation and choose the way in which they learn. These flexible seating choices will help with academics as students will be able to wiggle, while still focusing on instruction.
