The items you have donated have brought new motivation and joy to all of the preschool student in our classroom! We were able to wrap some of the smaller items up and put them under our small Christmas tree in the classroom. On our Holiday celebration day, each child has a small gift they could open for our class! It was so wonderful to see their faces light up and their excitement bubble as they opened each gift to see what it was! \r\n Your contributions mean the world to my preschool students. They have had immense fun and enjoyment playing with the toys and creating with the arts and crafts supplies. The bean bags have been a great hit with all of the children! They use them when they sit and look at books in our quiet calming corner. They will be used for many years to come! My students love puzzles and have loved doing playing with them over the past few months. \r\n I was overwhelmed with gratitude when I received all o the materials and my students were surprised by all that was new in our classroom. They have especially enjoyed using the tempera paint sticks in multiple craft projects. Recently, they used them to paint their paper plate giraffes! The materials given to our classroom will continue to help my preschool students learn, grow, explore, invent, and create so many things! The table lamps are a hit, and have made our room feel much calmer and cozier. They especially like to use them for independent reading or drawing, because it adds such a layer of warmth to use table lamps instead of overhead lights. \r\nThe camera was a surprise to my students, and possibly their favorite part of this purchase. When we took our hiking excursion this fall, I revealed to the students that every 20 minutes, I would randomly draw a name and that student would get to be the class photographer. This would allow for a variety of perspectives through the lens, while also allowing for students to remain focused on our learning tasks for most of the time. The photos I have attached are all taken by students through their eyes. This allowed for students to advocate for themselves, as they accessed clearly marked and separate tubs for different tools as needed. I was also able to bind individual alphabet books for the kindergartners to practice letters at home. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity.
