My Students

I am a special education teacher and currently work with students in grades K-6. Each student has their own individual needs in regards to being able to best access their educational environment. When they are provided with the tools that allow their brains to be ready for learning, the progress they make is amazing!

Each of my students needs to be able to utilize my classroom in a way that will allow them to accomplish their individualized learning goals.

My Project

All of the students that I work with have brains that are wired differently than that of their peers. This means that their needs for things such as specialized instruction and even flexible seating greatly enhance their ability to learn. Now more than ever, with the impact that the Corona Virus has had on learning this past year it is vital that they be given as many tools as possible to assist them in progressing in their education.

Flexible seating options will provide my students with the ability to utilize the classroom in a way that will assist them in achieving their individualized learning goals.
