Flexible Seating to Accommodate ALL Types of Little Learners

Help me give my students some flexible seating options! The linking stools will provide both a writing desk and seating option while the portable lap desk with cushion provides a different type of seating and lap desk.

My Project

I am seeking to provide different seating options for my students besides the desks and chairs that I have now in my classroom. Although some students are fine with sitting at a desk and chair to do paper and pencil work, other students struggle with this all year long.

These flexible seating options are what I need to help my students have more choice and voice in the classroom.

Flexible seating options will give students that are uncomfortable at a desk other options. They will be able to lay down with a clipboard, or sit on the floor with a lap desk or sit on the stool and use a clipboard. It will provide so many more options for students.

I am always trying to make my classroom developmentally appropriate and using flexible seating options provides more of that. Especially for my students that are extra wiggly or have been diagnosed with ADHD.
