This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you want to meet the best second graders in the universe? Well look no further, they are the students in my class!! My wonderful students are located in a very high poverty section of New York and they are just the best!

Not only do my second graders love to learn, but they love to take charge of their own learning!

My Project

Have you ever sat behind a computer and wondered how it would feel if you just had something tangible to help you focus? Well this is what I am trying to do with my students. I would like for them to have seating options such as wobble cushions and soft seats so they can fidget in their seats and get their work done. I would also like to have my students express themselves with various construction paper to use in publishing their writing, creating scenery and being creative in their learning. With your help, my students will be able to focus and express themselves so they can show off all that they are learning!
