Help me give my students flexible seating to promote academic success in the classroom! All of my students have a significant cognitive disability, and by providing flexible seating they'll be able to move their bodies while still learning.

My Project

I teach the Life Skills (Special Education) class at an elementary school. The students in my class have either a severe cognitive and/ or physical disability. A challenge these students face is not having access to flexible seating in our room. By having flexible seating they would be able to get their wiggles out while still practicing school-appropriate behaviors and making progress on their academic goals.

In our classroom, we all have different abilities!

The gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers would allow me access to a variety of activities and learning resources. The gift card would help me find materials for all the different levels of abilities we have in our classroom. Flexible seating and a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers would allow the children access to tools to help them achieve their goals!
