Flexible Seating Installation!

Help me give my students flexible seating options. With growing class sizes, it is getting harder and harder to fit traditional desks in a classroom, and these seating options will help us tremendously!

My Project

Class sizes are getting too big to fit traditional desks in. I teach 5th grade students in a low-income area. Our class sizes consist of 26 and 25 students. Students are having a hard time being able to focus in a classroom jam packed with awkward desks and other students.

Flexible seating will give students options to learn in a way that is comfortable to them.

The seating options will give students the ability to move around the room freely. Also, the freed-up space will give more space for us to participate in activities that will get students up and moving. All of these things will aid in student engagement and help us be the best versions of ourselves.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
