Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing kids! They are resilient and ready to learn, but we need materials! These kids come from a low income neighborhood and struggle with transiency, as well as learning English fluently. I would like to start the year off right with a fun and engaging classroom. I would love to introduce flexible seating immediately, but I need some supplies to make this happen! I would greatly appreciate your help to make my classroom amazing for these students!
My Project
These materials will allow my students to have an area for personal supplies which is what we will use the Closetmaid cubbies and bins for, as well as group supplies, which we will use the storage carts for. This way we can implement fully flexible seating! Without proper storage, we will have to start the year with desks, and implement flexible seating at a later date. The yoga ball chairs will be so exciting for my kiddos! Yoga ball chairs are amazing seating options for the little ones. I really want to make my classroom an exciting place to be, so that student engagement comes naturally.
