My Students

My third grade class comes to school each day ready to learn! They are creative, active learners, and are always excited about using technology. I currently have 16 boys and 9 girls in my classroom and each student comes ready to learn. These students have challenged me to look beyond a traditional classroom, and instead, create learning that uses many different tools to keep them actively engaged.

These students are also thrilled about our flexible seating!

My students get to pick their seat each day. This helps with independence and gives them a sense of belonging. The students use lap desks and small stools and they use a pad for comfort.

My Project

My students absolutely love the flexible seating in our classroom. They are able to move around and sit in different spots each day. This has really helped with their creativity and they are also able to collaborate with different students all day long. We are in need of some Stability Cushions and Soft Seats for the students to sit on. We also need some chargers for our awesome donated IPads.

Flexible seating has given students the ability to have ownership and responsibility in their classroom.

They love working with others and this seating creates space for students to work together. The students who sit with a lap desk or on stools use the Inflatable Stability Wobble Cushion and the Soft Seats each day! The iPad chargers will be used so that all of our iPads can be charged and used at the same time!
