My students are absolutely thrilled to have the power to choose their seats each day. From the moment I first told them about this project, they asked me multiple times a day, \"When will it start?\" Now that the day has finally arrived, their excitement is through the roof!\r\n\r\nEach morning, students rush into the classroom eager to pick their perfect spot for the day. Many are even arriving to school earlier to ensure they have the best chance at getting their favorite seat! The look of pure joy and surprise on their faces when they first saw the new classroom setup was priceless. They couldn't believe it was finally happening!\r\n\r\nNow that they have this new freedom, our next focus is on social-emotional learning—helping students make thoughtful choices about where they sit and who they sit next to. With this responsibility comes the opportunity to practice self-awareness and self-management, key skills that will help them thrive in and out of the classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible! The moment the box was opened, my students' faces lit up with curiosity and eagerness to try them. It was like watching a group of explorers discovering a new treasure—they couldn't wait to take turns using them.\r\n\r\nNow, the wiggle feet have become an essential part of our daily routine, especially for my students with ADHD. These innovative tools allow them to channel their natural energy into focused movement while seated. \r\n\r\nDuring our Cougar Den academic intervention time, the wiggle feet have been a game-changer. Struggling students can focus better on their tasks, and the classroom environment has become more inclusive and supportive for all learners.\r\n\r\nThe next step in our flexible seating journey is to provide a variety of tables and chairs that cater to different learning styles and preferences. Imagine a classroom where every child can pick a seat that helps them feel comfortable and ready to learn—it's a vision we're working hard to make a reality.\r\n\r\nThank you for making such a positive impact on my students' lives. I can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. Through your donation we were able to put together several different boxes of imaginative play themes which we have rotated through out the fall. Students were able to bake apple pie from a apple stand, style hair at their own salon, and decorate pretend cookies at a bakery. However, I would say the greatest enjoyment has yet to come as we will be able to build on the foundations you helped to provide by created even more themed learning opportunities. This Donor's Choose project has proved that with a little creativity and a couple additions children can play out real life situations far beyond than just what is inside the traditional \"play house\" found in every preschool classroom. \r\n\r\nWatching students experience something new through self discovery is one of the greatest joys of my job.
