Flexible Seating for the Library

My students need flexible seating in the library because all they have a square, bulky, old furniture that has not been updated since it was built over 10 years ago.

My Students

Keene High is a small school with big school ambitions. The educators are continuously striving to make themselves better for the wonderful students who attend here.

The students are from a low income community and though they have handicaps they strive and push themselves to be the best students they can be.

Walking around campus you see the students smiling and it is such a wonderful and special place. These students deserve the best and all the opportunities that we as educators can give them.

My Project

When the students from our school come into the library, they are forced to sit on old furniture that is bulky. It is not comfortable and unfortunately cannot be moved easily.

The staff at our school try to prepare the students for life after high school.

We try to teach them not only academic skills but skills that will allow them so succeed in life including team work. With the students doing so many group projects, the furniture itself is difficult to move and arrange and actually hinder group work and if we could update the library with flexible seating, it would give the students the ability to work together more easily.
