Our faculty strives to ensure that the students are not only prepared for college when they graduate but are prepared for life beyond that. I'm requesting one Flashforge Dreamer 3D printer for challenging STEAM learning in our library. Our school offers an engineering course and this 3D printer will be useful during different lessons and also asking students to apply those lessons with an artifact. A 3D printer will make it easy for lessons to have real-world applicability. Students can create projects and print them out on the 3D printer. They will be able to test to see if the design will actually hold up and work in real life. The art class will also use the 3D printer for many of its design lessons. Currently, they are learning graphic design. They are creating many incredible things but currently lack the ability to render these designs into actual physical projects. This printer will make their art come to life.
