My Project

Middle schoolers like to move around during the day and sometimes struggle with staying put. These cushions give them the opportunity to sit on a comfy space on the ground instead of having to be in one of our old wooden chairs. This is a more comfortable option for those who like to sit on the floor in the library or lay on the floor to read or work on their Chromebooks.

Students come into the library for lessons, book checkout, and for recess as an option rather than going outside.

Giving them the option to be seated on the ground keeps them from wandering around the large library space during times where they should be seated and reading or working on their assignments.
