Help me give my students new tables, stability balls, wobble chairs, and other flexible seating items in order to make the classroom a more comfortable learning environment.
Our school is in a rural area. Many of my students live in alternative settings. There's no major industry in our area, so families have to travel to work. This limits the time they spend with their kids. Often that means kids are spending more time in front of the television, computers, or other electronic devices, than they are outside. We want to give them items that would promote classroom engagement and optimize learning time.
My students deserve all the opportunities that I can give them.

My Project
My students need flexible seating options. Sitting at a desk for 8 hours is not an ideal or comfortable learning environment for anyone, much less kids who are only 7 and 8 years old. Having wobble stools, wobble balls, comfy chairs, stability disks, and lower tables allows them to move but, also stay focused. This optimizes students time learning and minimizes their breaks.
Flexible seating will increase on task behavior and deplete excess energy.
Please help me give my students what they need to make this important learning year a successful one.
