Flexible Seating for Students Who Are Neurodivergent!

Help me give my students flexible seating options. As a teacher, I believe students learn best when they are able to pick their seats and sit around the classroom. My hope is to have many options for students.

My Project

As a teacher with ADHD, I tend to have students in my classroom who also need special accommodations in order to be successful in the general education classroom. I take this very seriously, and I love to offer a variety of seating options for my students to choose from. Sitting at a desk is not beneficial for all students, and I find that many of my students prefer to sit around the room while I am teaching.

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment is my top priority.

That is why everything that I am asking for in my project will help all students be successful in the classroom. The couch and alternative places to write will help students pick a spot anywhere in the classroom where they are able to learn best and be successful.
