My Students
Hello! My name is Ms. Churchill and this is my first year teaching. I am in a Special Education classroom in Illinois. We are an instructional classroom, which means that my students receive all of their core instruction in my classroom. They go out into general education classes for their electives and lunch.
My students have a variety of needs; ranging from sensory needs, social/behavioral needs, and academic needs.
They are a bunch of fun-loving kids who have trouble sitting still and focusing. They love to learn and enjoy school.
My Project
These flexible seating options will help my students focus and be better able to learn. By being able to move in their learning environment in a safe way, they can help control their behavior in the classroom.

Flexible seating can be a little expensive, but they are the best options for the students. Fidgets also help students focus. It keeps their hands busy to keep their minds open and ready to learn. By being able to appropriately fidget with their hands, they will be able to focus and learn.
