Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I recently learned that I will move from teaching kindergarten to second grade for the 2019-20 school year. Seconds graders primarily sit in desks which is great, but can become tedious and uncomfortable. I’d like to provide my new students with flexible seating which will provide the type of comfortable environment that will help my students to do their personal best and feel comfortable reading. As my students hone their literacy skills, I want to create a cozy, engaging, comfortable environment for them. Thank you in advance for your help and support!
My Project
I recently learned that I will move from teaching kindergarten to second grade for the 2019-20 school year. Seconds graders primarily sit in desks which is great, but this conventional arrangement can become tedious and uncomfortable. I’d like to provide my 21st century scholars with flexible seating which will provide the type of comfortable environment that will help them do their personal best and feel comfortable reading. As my students hone their literacy skills, I will create a cozy, engaging, comfortable environment for them. Flexible seating is one of the tools that I will employ to do that. Thank you in advance for your help and support!
