Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school everyday ready to learn. They are always so full of energy and excited to take on the day's task. They have such a positive outlook about learning new things and I always encourage their academic growth.

I teach at a Title I school in Texas where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Despite any of the hardships my students may have at home, they keep their positive attitudes and always strive to do their best in all that they do. I want them to have fun reading and have a comfortable space in the classroom to read. I want them to keep their positive attitudes which will lead them to a successful future.

My Project

My students love to read! They especially love it when I let them choose a spot around the room to read. I want to encourage their love for reading, so with the bean bag chairs, floor cushions, floor seats and carpet they will be able to literally grab a seat and move anywhere in the room to read, or they can just pick a spot on the carpet. My students always have shown such a LOVE for READING and with the ability to sit comfortably around the room it will make the LOVE GROW FURTHER!
