Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Love is certainly at the forefront of our charter school focused on engaging academics and enriching environment! This is especially true of our room of first and second grade students, who come into the class ready to learn and curious about what the day will bring.
We are a community of learners, many of which are identified as gifted, and we support each other throughout the year in many ways.
Our charter school is much more than just a school, we are family!
My Project
First and Second grade scholars are wiggly! They need opportunities for movement while staying focused on learning. Flexible seating, such as wobble chairs and chair bands, offer these opportunities. These options will provide an in-class outlet for students who have tons of energy to share throughout the day!
Providing a variety of options gives students the power to choose their best learning environment and feel successful.
