In a primary classroom, much of our time is spent together in the meeting area. For our SVA room, this will be on our open carpet area. We begin every day together in a fun and meaningful Morning Meeting. We end our day together in a relaxing Closing Circle. We spend time sprawled on the floor reading, sitting side-by-side with partners for spelling, and spread math materials for hands-on learning activities! A new classroom rug will help us achieve the feeling of community by providing a clear and purposeful space. It will also add beauty to a space we spend over 35 hours a week in! Thank you for your support!
