My Students

My students this year haven't had a true sense of normalcy in school since they were in preschool. These students have proven over and over again that they are flexible and willing to go along with anything that life throws at them! In my classroom we have created a sense of community from day one. Even though we can't always work together, I try to help my students understand and embrace their differences from others.

Each of my students are unique in their own way.

We don't all learn the same, and we don't all do things the same way. This group of students really tries their hardest to understand we're all unique and they are willing to help each other with their weaknesses when they need it!

My Project

These flexible seating options would be VERY beneficial to my students. A lot of my students already like to move around the room as we complete our digital math lessons daily. However, it would be nice to allow them to have a flexible option as I am teaching. Many of my students do better if they are moving, fidgeting, or doodling while I am teaching. For some of them, having the flexible seating option will help them focus much more.

By donating to our project, you will be helping my students have more options and choices in the classroom which can help them feel more empowered with their learning.

Many classrooms in my building already have a flexible seating option in the older grades but I would like to implement this for my younger students. I think I would really see a difference in some of my student's learning and I also think there would be increased participation.
