My Project

Multilingual learners need to feel comfortable and at ease, as they learn a new language and develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Flexible seating will help accelerate student learning as they complete partner and group work in a way that promotes their oral language development.

Having options on where and how to work within our classroom also promotes the social needs of my students. Student choice in seating options will increase student engagement and motivation. This project will benefit 52 students in kindergarten through 5th grade who speak 10 different languages.
