Flexible Seating for Library and Beyond

Help me give my students flexible seating with the carpet, cushions, and lap desk to give my students a more comfortable environement. The books are to help build my students' foundational skills in reading.

My Project

I am hoping to use the carpet and cushions to create a reading nook in my classroom. I think the carpet would create an alternative place for kids to take their books to read. It may encourage the students to read more if they have a special place for it. I am also requesting more books for my library as well so that my students have more choices. Because my kids are first graders, I think that decodable readers would be appropriate beacuse they can practice the skills that they have learned in class. The portable lap desks are for students who would prefer to sit at the carpet and work instead of at their desks. They may sit at our rainbow carpet or in the reading nook.
