My Students
Our school is a high-performing K-5 elementary school in a suburb of Washington, D.C. We have a high military family and diverse population with some students receiving free and reduced lunch. My classroom family consists of 27 fun-loving, eager learners, who love to explore and create.
I want my students to be all that they can be in an atmosphere that will inspire them to dream big and to have a growth mindset.
Flexible seating will help provide an environment in which they can grow and bloom. Anything and everything is possible!
My Project
Where do you learn best? What kind of seat is the most comfortable for you? I want to give my students a comfortable learning environment. I also want to provide choices of where my students can learn and work.
By giving them flexible seating, with your help, I will be boosting their learning, creativity, and overall learning in my classroom.
I want to turn my classroom into a student-centered classroom, where I give them the responsibility to choose where they will work best. I can't wait for my students to use our stools, cushions, and benches. They will be so excited! Thank you in advance for your support:)
