My Students
I work at a title I school with a wonderful group of students. Many of our students come from high need families. It is a community of students that desire what every child craves, the opportunity to choose and have the most innovative educational experiences. I am trying to create a classroom of comfortable choice to support their learning. Our seats are mostly 30 years old and I am hoping to bring flexible seating options into our classrooms because that is what is best for our students!
My Project
Need to move? Need to bounce? Were you that one kiddo that was a leg bouncer? Needed the option to stand or have more than just the average chair to use at your desk or table? We have plenty of these students and some teachers! (namely me). Having the option of a 22” balance ball seat from Lakeshore would give our kids another option of seating choice to ensure their focus, determination, perseverance and ultimately their success. Helping me to help them will only create a better learning environment for all! Please consider the impact any donation can have on a classroom with 30 year old chairs and desks.
