Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hardworking, creative, and full of energy. They love hands-on activities, collaborative learning, and opportunities to move and interact throughout the school day. Even during challenging lessons, they continue to try their best and support one another. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel comfortable, safe, and excited to learn each day.

My students spend many hours sitting at desks during instruction, small groups, independent work, and testing preparation.

While they work incredibly hard, many students focus and learn better when they are given flexible seating options and opportunities for movement. The floor cushions and bean bag chairs will help create a more comfortable and welcoming learning environment where students can work collaboratively, participate in small groups, read independently, and stay engaged during lessons. These resources will help support student focus, motivation, and overall classroom engagement while giving students a learning space that better meets their needs.
