Students at my school come from low socioeconomic families. Our students do not see this as a hindrance in their education. They face many challenges at home, but are eager to learn in the classroom.
Students have a thirst for knowledge and believe that they can achieve at a high level.
My students are respectful towards authority both in and out of the classroom. In our classroom, students love working together to achieve goals that have been established by themselves as well as the teacher.
My sixth graders are asked to sit for long hours at a time in the classroom. We do not have recesses, other than at lunchtime. The wobble balls will provide many with a way to release some of that pent-up energy.
In my class, I also have students that may not have been diagnosed as ADHD, but they have extremely high energy.
These products will allow them to have some movement at their desk to maintain focus on the task at hand without disturbing others.
Lastly, these products will allow students to develop better posture and keep them healthier.
