Help me give my students flexible seating to keep their mind on learning all day. These self standing balance balls will add opportunity for students to wiggle while they learn which helps to keep them super engaged.

My Students
Our school is a rural school in southern Virginia. We are a small school with around 200 students. Our students work very hard to be on task and prepared for school. Many students in my class are from low income families and I strive to provide the best learning environment for our students. Some students lack supplies from time to time; however, none of them lack curiosity or a thirst for knowledge.
Our school is one of a kind.
We are a small school that works to provide a family feeling for our students and each other as educators. Our students work really hard to meet our expectations each day. Some, if not all, of our students really benefit from having different mediums to show his/her knowledge. In my classroom, I really strive to provide out of box learning for these students and an inviting environment.
In my classroom, I would like to give my smart and eager students all the tools that they need to become better and more well rounded students.
My Project
Have you ever been in a meeting all day in a stiff chair and thought, “Man, when will I get out of here?” Hopefully my students never feel that way. I strive to give them a fun and engaging learning environment. I always get a smile on my face when I hear them say how they aren’t ready to go home yet at the end of the day.
Flexible seating helps to keep students moving, energized and engaged on the true task at hand- learning!
Why not use flexible seating to help students stay focused during the day? I get so excited when my students are twisting or slightly bouncing as they figure out a word problem with a partner without issues or complaints. When students have their little wiggly bodies engaged in movement their minds can really light up with ideas and innovation.
At the beginning of the school year, I love to hear parents say that they wish their teachers would have used flexible seating when they were in school. I take pride in parents and students knowing instantly that my classroom is kid friendly and inviting. These self standing balance balls will help to provide a fun, engaging and flexible learning environment for my students during the upcoming school year.
