Our students deserve the best education they can get! Many of our students come from a low income household. Our students come to school excited and eager to learn! When they enter my classroom, I want them to feel welcomed and like they are at their second home. After all they are there 5 days a week! My students learn both visually and by being in a hands on learning environment. During my studies at WGU, I learned a lot about student centered learning. As a new teacher, I can’t wait to put these skills to the test in my very own classroom! I’d like to provide them the very best learning environment but can only meet those needs of my students with the necessary resources.
My Project
Raise your hand if you like sitting at a desk all day! Raise your hand if your desk didn’t come with a comfy chair! The standard school chair is so uncomfortable for our little babies! They can only sit in them for so long before they want to get up and move around. With flexible seating options, my student will be given the freedom to get up and move and work where they are comfortable! They can sit on the floor on the comfortable sit spots. They can sit on the wobble stools or stability balls if they prefer to be at the tables. I want my students to have the option to work where they are comfortable!
