My Project

Many students can benefit from having the option of flexible seating in the classroom. Inclusion for special education students is more prevalent now than ever. Flexible seating can help students with ADHD, Autism, and other disabilities feel more comfortable in the general education setting. The more comfortable they feel, the more likely they will be to participate and take ownership of their learning.

My hope is that giving special education students control over their environment will empower them to feel like they have more control over their learning.

Tools such as fidget seats, floor seats, and other options will help us create a more accessible classroom for all.
