Kindergarten is such a fun grade to teach. My students are so eager to learn and grow each time they enter the classroom. For most of my students it is their first experience with being in a classroom setting. It is amazing to see how they have adjusted and learned to love school.
When introducing new material my student's faces light up with excitement.
They have such an infectious energy that allows me to come in eager to learn and grow with them. I want to make sure that I am able to help them each succeed and continue to love learning.
My Project
Flexible seating allows student to stay motivated to work in a way that is best for them. Students pick where they learn and who they are learning with. With your help, I can give my students the best chance to learn and grow.
Young learners need movement and excitement to keep them engaged and focused.
Sitting at a table or on the carpet for long periods of time is not ideal for a 5 year old. When given a choice of where to learn, I notice that my students work is completed more often due to less distractions. Wobble chairs will allow students who are particularly active to wiggle while working at a table. Having seat cushions and wobbly cushions will allow my students to pick a place in the classroom that works best for them.
Kindergarten plays such a crucial role in a child's educational career. I want to make sure that all of my students get the chance to learn in an environment that works best for each child.
