Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a 3rd grade math and science teacher. A large majority of my students come from homes of poverty, and some of them live in apartments. Providing my diverse learners with a classroom where they feel comfortable is a top priority.

I want all of my students to feel comfortable and excited about our classroom and I strive to provide that environment for them.

My students are still young and I want to continue instilling their love of learning by providing them with a classroom where they feel at home.

My Project

My students will benefit from this flexible seating option in a tremendous way. By allowing them to have other choices than traditional seating, students will feel excited and comfortable walking into our classroom. I want to provide my students with the items they need to feel comfortable in the classroom so they are able to be successful in their education.

Research has shown that students learn in a variety of ways.

I want to provide choice in seating to accommodate a diverse student population. Please help me provide my third graders with this unique and innovative learning experience. While combined with my hands-on teaching approach, we are sure to have a phenomenal year!
