Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are great and eager to learn. Our school is a low income school and we don't always have resources that the students can benefit from. I was teaching second grade last year and this next school year I am moving up to third grade with the same students. I want to bring something exciting that will help make their learning more fun and interesting to my students. I really believe that my students will benefit from flexible seating.

My Project

I am so excited to introduce flexible seating to my 3rd grade students this coming school year. This will make students learning environment fun and more interesting to them! Some other benefits of flexible seating are: easier collaboration between peers. When students collaborate sometimes they need to move their chairs to face their partner, if they had their fitness balls all they had to do is turn their bodies/head. Flexible seating gives students freedom and choice! I also have certain students that will definitely benefit from bouncing on the fitness ball in order to focus more, participate more and collaborate more too! Please help me bring flexible seating to my wonderful 3rd grade students!
