My Students

Our students are a wonderful bunch with energy that knows no bounds! Their intelligent and inquisitive nature allows for a classroom environment where challenges are fun, not frightening, and active energy is encouraged, not shunned. Directing all of this energy into positive learning experiences is a fantastic privilege for any teacher to have! I am posting this project in a search for materials that will allow students an outlet during class time, for them to express their high spirits. My hope is that this will continue to facilitate a positive learning experience in the classroom!

My Project

Have you ever known a 5th grader that loved to sit still all day? Me neither! That's why your donation will be used to purchase alternative style seating for our students! Once the body is allowed to express its energy, the mind is more able to focus on complex tasks at hand (fractions anyone?). It is my hope that these seats might be helpful with students of all abilities and learning styles and be especially helpful for students that normally have difficulty focusing. It is also my hope that our already fun and exciting learning environment can get even better! Thank you in advance for you consideration.
