Help me give my students some flexible seatings options for our classroom! The seating options I'm hoping for will allow them to comfortably work within our classroom.
I have an amazing bunch of fourth graders this year. My students are thoughtful, creative and eager to learn and explore. My nineteen students love to collaborate together and have fun learning!

Having students who are eager to learn and collaborate together creates a welcoming environment in any classroom. In our classroom we practice respect, patience, safety and kindness. These core values are used throughout the day.
My Project
Having several seating options in the classroom is so important. Students shouldn't be just sitting at a desk all day. They should be able to work and collaborate while scattered throughout the classroom. Having seating options allows a student to stand, rock, lean, or wobble while working. There have been studies that show this improves oxygen flow to the brain. The wobble chairs as well as the bean bag chairs help with sensory input.
Flexible seating options would be perfect in our classroom space!
I have found that when students are comfortable they produce better work. We currently a bean bag chair and a couple other little chairs for flexible seating but not nearly enough for nineteen students to have options.
