Flexible Seating Dream Room

My students need two bungee chairs, four high stools, and four bean bag chairs to complete our dream room!

My Students

My students are a vibrant bunch. Every morning they come to school enthusiastic about learning. They get excited to see each other, work together, and be successful.

The best part about my class is that they are all the best of friends.

They would do anything for one another. Whether it is helping with spelling a word, a math problem, or a friend problem, each and every one will always have each other's back. If someone gets teased, they problem solve together to make sure it doesn't happen again. Their willingness to accept each other and to always be friendly is inspiring.

My Project

We have been working toward building our dream room! Little by little, with the help of DonorsChoose, we have moved toward a more comfortable, collaborative classroom!

Bungee chairs, high stools, and bean bag chairs will complete our dream room!

These are the last items that my students have identified as flexible seating options they would like to have in our room. They are always so excited when a new type of seating shows up!! They can't wait to see these items!

The flexible seating has allowed each student to take responsibility over choosing their seats and taking care of our new furniture. The students have also become more focused on their school work as they are able to wiggle and wobble all day. The classroom environment will also continue to improve with new seating as students know that they have to follow classroom and school rules in order to have first choice with seating!
