My Project

This project will help me give my students seating in the classroom that will help them learn. As adults, it's hard for us to sit all day, so why should we expect kids to? In my classroom I have 17 students, and they all have a LOT of energy. Sitting in a chair all day is a strenuous task.

The items in this project include different seating choices such as bean bags, wobble stools and cushions to help them learn their best, and succeed while taking control of their own learning!

They will be able to have a say in where they sit, and they will learn to be able to hold themselves accountable for their own learning.

I believe that giving kids the opportunity to move while learning, benefits their ability to focus, and do their best work!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
