Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating has improved participation in the classroom and reduced behaviors. Students are able to sit in a successful spot and move around while being productive scholars. Flexible seating provides opportunities for student agency and increase responsibility over their body and learning environment.

In my classroom, I have noticed that students are more successful when they are able to move their body.

I will be moving into a new classroom and will lose all of my flexible seating. I am asking for help to provide an learning environment that will be beneficial for students who need movement and flexibility to be successful.
