My Project

I teach at a school where most of my students come from underserved communities. For many of them, school is more than just a place to learn; instead, it’s a haven, a consistent space where they can feel supported, valued, and seen. Despite the challenges they face outside the classroom, my students show up every day eager to learn, full of energy, curiosity, and determination.

One of the things I admire most about them is their resilience and willingness to grow.

They work hard and truly care about their education, which is why I want to create a learning environment that reflects how much they matter.

The Flex-Space Modular Chair will give students a comfortable and calming option for working independently, reading, or collaborating in small groups. It supports different learning styles by allowing students to choose where and how they sit, helping them focus, feel at ease, and stay engaged. With this flexible seating, I hope to give every student a space that feels a little more like home, where they can learn and thrive at their best.
