The students love the color and shapes of the blocks and the colors make them want to stay longer on the blocks when it is their turn. The steeple cones allow for the kids to practice jumping skills and for some to build confidence. When students meet their reading and writing goals, show great teamwork, or demonstrate positive behavior, they get to choose a reward. Recently, after a tough writing activity, I watched a group of students encourage one another by saying, \"Let's finish strong so we can make it to the treasure box.\" It has transformed moments of challenge into opportunities for perseverance and joy.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has created more than just a box of prizes—it has built motivation, confidence, and community in our classroom. With the wireless mouse and keyboard, I'm now able to move more freely around the room while teaching—helping students at their desks while still managing lessons on the screen. The laminator and thermal pouches have helped us create durable learning tools like vocabulary cards, math game pieces, and student work display signs. We recently completed a classroom scavenger hunt where laminated clues were hidden around the room, and students were so excited to engage in learning in this new way! The pens have also been a big hit—students love using the bright colors to take notes, edit their work, and annotate texts.\r\nMy students were thrilled! Many of them said, \"This feels like a brand-new classroom!\" They especially loved seeing their work laminated and displayed—it gave them a real sense of pride. The pens were immediately popular, with students carefully choosing their favorite colors. One student even said, \"It makes learning feel fun when we get to use special supplies!\"\r\nNext, we'll be working on building personal reference folders—collections of laminated tools such as multiplication charts, grammar checklists, and sight word lists—that students can use during independent work. These will be especially helpful as we head into more challenging content. We'll also continue to use the wireless setup to support more interactive learning experiences and student-led tech presentations.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for investing in our classroom—you've made a real difference in how we teach, learn, and grow together!","fullyFundedDate":1680788048095,"projectUrl":"project/basic-office-supplies-for-student-succes/7225608/","projectTitle":"Basic Office Supplies for Student Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Blackwell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6284457_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1663431176644","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6284457"},{"teacherId":6111260,"projectId":9109685,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom project and making it possible for us to receive the LEGO SPIKE Essential kits!\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students now have access to hands-on STEM learning experiences that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Whether they're working through interactive reading programs, practicing math fluency, or following along with video instructions, they now have a tool that helps them stay in the zone.\r\n\r\nSeveral of my students have especially benefited from this new technology. Our Special Education students are now able to work more independently with their tailored programs, without background noise interfering. My ESOL learners are also thriving — the headphones help them listen closely to pronunciation and language patterns, and I've noticed a big boost in their confidence during class discussions. Even students who are usually easily distracted are more focused and on-task during independent learning time.\r\n\r\nThese headphones have done more than just reduce classroom noise; they've given my students a sense of control over their learning environment.
