This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My goal is to add a Flexible Learning Corner to our class setting. Flexible seating and snacks can significantly enhance the learning environment in a classroom. By providing options for students to choose where they sit, such as bean bags, standing desks, or floor cushions, it allows them to find a comfortable and conducive learning space that suits their preferences and needs, fostering better concentration and engagement. Additionally, providing snacks can help regulate blood sugar levels, which can improve focus and cognitive function. Both flexible seating and snacks create a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, promoting a positive attitude towards learning.

Our students are in a phase of their lives where they are actively learning and growing.

Their minds are open to new ideas, experiences, and knowledge, which makes them uniquely positioned to absorb information and develop new skills. Giving them this support will encourage high achievement and support holistic success.
