Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I want to use flexible seating in my classroom; flexible seating creates a student-centered environment which provide students with choices. According to research, flexible seating allows students to process certain types of learning on certain days.

Some of our students have ADHD and staying in one spot for long periods of times difficult at times.

To help my students, I want to offer flexible seating to help improve their attention span. By improving students' attention span, I would also be improving their academics. I will use the items on this list to help my students stay focused.
