My Students
I teach fourth grade at a Title I school in Michigan. My students are always so excited to learn new things. My goal is to provide them with multiple ways to learn and show their learning. This year, my students have a wide range of abilities and instructional needs. I need ways to help best reach them as learners.
My students are a fantastic group of kids who enjoy learning.
I am on a mission to pass on my love of learning to my students. My classroom is a safe haven for them. I want to provide as many fun and engaging learning opportunities for them, as well as having a comforting environment.
My Project
This year has been extremely hard on the students because of Covid-19 restrictions. I have always allowed my students to move around the room and use flexible seating options while they are working. Unfortunately, the majority of these seating options had to be removed and students must remain in their seats.
These Kore Wobble Chairs will help many of my students focus by allowing them to have continuous movement.
I am fortunate to have two of these wonderful chairs but so many of my students would benefit from them. Several of my students are struggling this year because they they have to stay at their desk in a uncomfortable chair. I love allowing my students to move around while they are learning but this year we have to keep everyone safe and healthy. Not only will these chairs help my students focus, but they are also antibacterial! This is a must have feature in classrooms this year.
