My Project

Next year, I’ll be moving to a new classroom and don’t yet know what furniture will be provided. I want to make sure students have access to flexible seating options that help them stay focused, self-regulate, and feel comfortable in their learning environment.

These materials will provide my students with a range of choices that match their needs:

- Wobble stools to help students who focus best with gentle movement

- A standing desk for students who need to stretch or prefer not to sit

- Soft floor cushions and lap desks for those who feel calm and focused when working low to the ground

- A comfy bean bag chair for reading time or breaks

- Foot fidgets and chair bands to support students who need sensory input during lessons

Flexible seating encourages students to take ownership of their learning and supports a positive classroom climate where all learners feel seen, supported, and successful.
